Speeding

About

Speed prevention messaging is essential to any road safety communication plan.

We offer communication resources for a year-round social norming campaign as well as material for a high-visibility enforcement campaign. While both campaigns help spread awareness and educate the public about the deadly consequences of speeding and urge drivers to obey speed limits, the high-visibility enforcement campaign also includes messaging related to increased law enforcement.

Social Norming

Speeding Catches Up With You

This campaign runs year-round and focuses on social norming as a way of deterring people from speeding. This campaign is supported by a paid national media buy in July.

Enforcement

Speeding Slows You Down

This is an enforcement campaign that can be used if high-visibility enforcement is happening in an area. Messaging should include the consequences of speeding and be supported by increased law enforcement.
